"Keum-boo is an ancient Asian technique of bonding 24kt gold and fine silver. The beautiful combination of pure gold and pure silver is achieved not by melting but actually by the diffusion of the two metals. When 24kt gold and fine silver are heated to an exact temperature, the atoms of the metals interchange with each other, creating a permanent, lasting bond.

"I first roller print the design in fine silver which also work hardens the metal. The rich gold leaf patterns are then applied to the design. I then add more detail by hand engraving areas.
