These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by From the Vault Jewelers ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 3720 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40207. By using our services — including in-store, online, or via SMS text messaging — you agree to these terms.

1. Services

From the Vault Jewelers provides retail jewelry sales, jewelry repair, resizing, cleaning, engraving, appraisals, and custom/bespoke jewelry design and fabrication. All work is performed in-house by our team of skilled craftspeople.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, including work we determine to be beyond reasonable repair, or orders that conflict with our policies.

2. Estimates & Pricing

Estimates provided in person, by phone, or via text message are good-faith approximations based on information available at the time. Final pricing may differ if the actual scope of work changes upon closer inspection of the piece. We will notify you of any significant change in price before proceeding.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We accept payment by cash, credit card, and other methods as posted in store. Payment is due upon pickup of completed work.

3. Repairs & Custom Work

By leaving items with us for repair, resizing, engraving, or custom work, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

You are the owner of the item or have authorization from the owner to have work performed
While we exercise the utmost care with every piece, From the Vault Jewelers is not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or conditions that may become apparent during the repair process
Items not picked up within 90 days of completion and reasonable notification attempts may be subject to storage fees or other remedies as permitted by Kentucky law
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, theft, or acts of God

4. Custom & Bespoke Orders

Custom and bespoke jewelry orders require a deposit prior to commencement of work. Deposit amounts vary by project and will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of order. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has begun.

Custom orders are made to your specifications. We will work closely with you throughout the process, but because custom pieces are made uniquely for you, they are not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a defect in our workmanship.

5. Appraisals

Appraisals provided by From the Vault Jewelers represent our professional opinion of value based on the information available at the time of appraisal. Appraisal values are for informational and insurance purposes and do not constitute a guarantee of market value or a commitment to purchase. Most appraisals require an appointment.

6. SMS Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number to From the Vault Jewelers, you agree to receive SMS text messages from us related to your orders, repairs, appointments, and service inquiries.

Program description: From the Vault Jewelers sends SMS messages to communicate order and repair status updates, appointment reminders, follow-ups on custom projects, and responses to customer inquiries. Message frequency varies based on your active orders or appointments.

Consent: You are not required to consent to SMS messaging as a condition of receiving services from us
Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS messages. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts will be sent
Opt back in: Reply START or contact us directly to resume SMS communications
Help: Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at info@fromthevaultjewelers.com
Message & data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. From the Vault Jewelers does not charge fees for SMS communications
Carriers: Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most major U.S. carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers

7. Website Use

We make reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate, but we make no warranties regarding the completeness or accuracy of any content. Product availability, pricing, and hours are subject to change without notice.

All content on our website and social media — including photographs, designs, text, and logos — is the property of From the Vault Jewelers and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, From the Vault Jewelers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the amount paid for those services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky.

11. Changes to These Terms
